Ecological Support
On 12 December 2017, the President of the French Republic, Emmanuel Macron, the President of the World Bank Group, Jim Yong Kim, and the Secretary-General of the United Nations, António Guterres, will address the ecological emergency for our planet by calling together in Paris international leaders and committed citizens from around the world.
Two years to the day after the historic Paris Agreement, it is time for concrete action. Many stakeholders are already taking action and will present projects illustrating the ongoing transition.
Much remains to be done to achieve our goals: commitments will be made.
The One Planet Summit’s three keywords will be adaptation, mitigation and mobilization.

A Morning for Climate Action
The consequences of climate change affect everyone, so it is up to each and every stakeholder in society to act. More than 50 speakers: NGOs, entrepreneurs, investors, government members, local stakeholders and scientists will meet to take action around the four round tables of the One Planet Summit morning. The goal is to identify and implement tangible solutions and mobilize public and private funding to enable large-scale deployment – including in the most vulnerable countries.
Projects for Our Planet
At the heart of the Summit, some 20 projects will be showcased. These projects will be presented during the round tables in the morning, the Climate Agora at lunchtime and during the afternoon sessions. They illustrate the fact that concrete local and global solutions exist to address the challenges we face. They need to be stepped up and replicated, and to serve as a source of inspiration around the world. They demonstrate that we are committed to a new world, to preserve the future of our one and only planet. Look at the projects here>>
The Panels
Side events
In parallel of the One Planet Summit on December 12, many side events are organized on December 10, 11 and 13 in Paris by public, private and civil society stakeholders in order to contribute to the mobilization and the implementation of concrete solutions towards greater climate action.
