Sheryl Sandberg recently visited Airbnb to share lessons learned from her years at Facebook and Google. One great question was posed to Sandberg: “What’s the number one thing you look for in someone who can scale with a company?”

Sandberg replied: How do you respond to feedback?

“Someone who takes feedback well. Because people who can take feedback well are people who can learn and grow quickly.”

All kinds of beneficial criticism and feedback can help us to grow and improve ourselves and skills.If you really want to grow as a person, learn to make the most of negative feedback. To clear the air from any negative hints: I’m not excusing criticism that’s hurtful.
