Actions & Reactions
Facebook managed -again- to attract all of our attention with the new reactions emoji. Most of the Facebook users seem to be excited with this so called “extensions of the like button”. For sure you won’t spot me among them.
Why should we invent more ways to make Facebook more complicated? Why someone would need an extra impersonal option of making clear how she/he feels about a post? Looks like that words and the time of thinking (that a human being needs in front of an action), just doesn’t fit to any marketing metrics… So a quick recipe of extra fast reaction was invented.

Are we so incapable to be expressive and geniune that we need an emoji to “digitize” our reactions?
In a world that free time and creative thinking is the new luxury, most probably new Facebook emoji all they do is to put into tiny prefix circles all our feelings and authentic notions. But why? Are we so incapable to be expressive and geniune that we need an emoji to “digitize” our reactions? Let and give people a chance to build their communication skills far beyond the fast solution of premade emoji reactions . Just because is trending doesn’t make it a good thing.

All today-40something are the last generation that tasted the freedom to be truly exposed to life without the digital era bug into our must-have lifestyle.
All today-40something are the last generation that tasted the freedom to be truly exposed to life without the digital era bug into our must-have lifestyle. When a social media platform like Facebook, gathers so much power into their hands, before they lunch any new feature it is the perfect time to get back to basics and ask: “Is this truly helpful? Can this make humans communicate?”
Life is complicated enough for all ages and communication can be really tricky. As far as I can recall Facebook’s first intention was to make communication easier not poorer…
Try to remember it, please. Don’t make our world a wordless place.
