AI Visibility Workshop: Three Days of Strategy, Technology and Agency Growth in Spetses | 20–22 June 2026 | Spetses Island, Greece
What happens when 11 copywriting agency owners step away from their daily inboxes, client deadlines and operational responsibilities to focus exclusively on the future of their agencies? From 20 to 22 June 2026, the IDEADECO team welcomed 11 agency owners to a private villa on Spetses Island for an intensive, hands-on workshop dedicated to AI Visibility Strategy for Copywriting Agencies.
Designed by IDEADECO Agency and delivered by Areti Vassou, Managing Director of IDEADECO SEO Copywriting Agency, the three-day workshop focused on one urgent question:
How can copywriting agencies remain visible, valuable and profitable as AI transforms search, content discovery, client expectations and agency operations?
This was a laser-focused, hands-on workshop in artificial intelligence for business growth. In other words, it was a working environment for agency owners who needed to understand what is changing, identify where the real opportunities are and build practical systems they could immediately integrate into their agencies.
AI Visibility Is Becoming Agencies’ Responsibility
Search visibility is no longer limited to rankings and traditional organic traffic. Brands are now being discovered, compared, recommended and evaluated through ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews and AI Mode, Gemini, Microsoft Copilot, Perplexity, Claude and other AI-powered environments.
Google continues to underline that strong SEO foundations remain relevant to generative AI search, while also warning that large volumes of AI-generated content without meaningful human value may violate its spam policies. Microsoft has already introduced AI Performance reporting in Bing Webmaster Tools, allowing website owners to monitor citations and understand which pages are being referenced in AI-generated answers.
The message for copywriting agencies is clear: AI is our invisible partner in the room.
Clients do not simply need more content. They need content that can be understood, trusted, retrieved, cited and recommended across an expanding digital discovery ecosystem.
They also need agencies capable of connecting copywriting with SEO, AI visibility, brand authority, technical performance, reputation, measurement and human judgment. AEO, GEO, and the new evergreen form of content are based on quality and authenticity in all possible forms of content. That connection became the central focus of our work in Spetses.
What the Agency Owners Successfully Completed
Throughout the three-day program, all 11 agency owners worked directly on their own agencies, active client accounts, and ongoing projects. Every session combined strategic guidance with practical implementation. Participants were not asked to observe generic demonstrations. They were invited to examine their own positioning, services, workflows, content systems and growth opportunities.
Each Agency owner had their personal advisor at their table, ready to guide them step by step on how to manage and turn around any obstacle. The program covered the skills that copywriting agencies increasingly need in order to deliver measurable value in an AI-mediated market.
AI Visibility and Search Strategy In Action
Participants worked on:
- AI Visibility Audits and baseline assessments
- AI search competitor analysis
- Prompt, question, and conversational query research
- Brand mention and citation monitoring
- AI share-of-voice analysis
- Brand sentiment and narrative analysis
- Source and citation gap identification
- Search-intent and customer-question mapping

- Google AI Overviews and AI Mode visibility
- ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Copilot and Perplexity visibility
- Entity recognition and brand-entity development

- Traditional SEO and AI search integration
- Multilingual and international AI visibility
AI visibility monitoring is already extending beyond rankings to include brand mentions, citations, sentiment, competitive positioning and the questions people ask AI systems about a company.
AI-Ready Copywriting and Content Development
The workshop also explored how agencies can create content that remains distinctively human while becoming easier for search engines and AI systems to interpret and retrieve.
The practical work included:
- People-first copywriting supported by AI
- Expert-led and experience-based content
- Source-worthy writing and original insights
- Clear answer structures and conversational content
- Content architecture for complex customer journeys
- Entity-rich brand and service pages
- FAQ, comparison and decision-support content

- Editorial quality assurance and fact-checking
- AI content governance and disclosure policies
- Brand voice protection across AI-assisted workflows
The goal was never to produce more content simply because AI makes production faster. Please read that again! The main goal was to create stronger content, content with clarity, experience, credibility, personality and a reason to exist.
AI Platforms, Agents and Agency Technology
Agency owners received practical experience across the wider AI and search ecosystem, including:
Generative AI and research platforms
ChatGPT, OpenAI Deep Research, ChatGPT Agent, Custom GPTs, Claude, Claude Projects, Claude Computer Use, Gemini, Gemini Deep Research, NotebookLM, Perplexity, Microsoft Copilot and Google AI Mode.
OpenAI’s Custom GPTs support purpose-built assistants for repeatable workflows, while ChatGPT Agent can combine research with actions across tools. Claude’s computer-use capabilities allow agents to interact with desktop environments, and Perplexity provides real-time, web-grounded research and agent-building capabilities.
SEO, AI visibility and measurement platforms
Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4, Bing Webmaster Tools and AI Performance, Semrush AI Visibility Toolkit, Ahrefs Brand Radar, Screaming Frog SEO Spider, Looker Studio and platform-specific visibility monitoring systems.
Automation and agency operations platforms
Make, Zapier, n8n, Airtable, Notion, Google Workspace and connected agency knowledge bases.
Participants designed and tested different types of agency agents, including:
- AI visibility research agents
- Competitor-intelligence agents
- Content-audit agents
- Search-intent research agents
- Editorial briefing agents
- Brand-voice assistants
- Content quality-control agents
- Fact-checking and source-verification agents
- Content-refresh agents
- Repurposing and distribution agents
- Client onboarding assistants
- Proposal and reporting agents
- Internal knowledge agents
- Project-management assistants
- Monthly AI visibility monitoring workflows
The emphasis remained on controlled, transparent, and human-supervised implementation. An agent should not be introduced simply because it can automate a task. It should be introduced because it improves accuracy, saves meaningful time, protects quality, or allows the agency team to focus on work requiring experience, empathy, and strategic judgment.
Responding to the New Demands of Agency Clients
A significant part of the workshop focused on the services clients are increasingly requesting—or will soon expect their agencies to provide.
These include:
- Understanding whether their brand appears in AI-generated answers
- Measuring mentions, citations and AI share of voice
- Discovering how AI platforms describe their brand
- Comparing their AI visibility with direct competitors
- Identifying the questions and prompts influencing customer decisions
- Improving visibility in ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot, Perplexity and AI search
- Developing content that can become a trusted source
- Strengthening entity authority and brand recognition
- Connecting SEO, content, digital PR and reputation
- Updating existing content for AI-powered discovery
- Protecting brand voice across AI-assisted production
- Building private, brand-specific AI assistants
- Automating repetitive agency and marketing workflows
- Training internal teams to use AI responsibly
- Establishing AI governance, review and quality-control processes
- Reporting visibility and influence beyond traditional clicks
- Connecting AI discovery with qualified leads and business growth
This requires a new kind of copywriting agency. Not an agency that abandons writing in favor of technology. An agency that understands how technology discovers, processes and distributes information—while continuing to protect the human truth inside every brand.
A Private Setting Built for Real Work
The private-villa format created something that could not have been achieved through a conventional conference room or an online seminar. Agency owners had the time and space to work through real challenges, exchange operational knowledge, and discuss the decisions that are often difficult to address during a normal working week.
Formal sessions continued naturally into conversations around the table, working meetings and strategic discussions between participants. This was especially true during lunch and dinner, where every dish was prepared by a private chef and accompanied by a carefully selected collection of exceptional wines. As the sun set over Spetses, these shared moments created the perfect setting for deeper conversations, fresh ideas, new collaborations and the kind of professional connections that rarely emerge inside a conventional workshop environment.
New professional relationships were formed. New collaborations were initiated. New projects emerged. Existing projects moved forward with greater clarity, while several agencies identified opportunities to combine expertise, resources and delivery capabilities. The workshop demonstrated that networking becomes far more valuable when it is built around trust, shared work and a willingness to discuss what is actually happening behind the polished agency presentation.
From Knowledge to Agency Operations
Every participating agency left Spetses with more than a collection of AI tools. They left with:
- An individual AI Visibility Strategy
- A clearer agency positioning
- New service-development opportunities
- Practical AI agent and automation concepts
- Improved internal workflows
- A roadmap for active client projects
- A framework for monitoring AI visibility
- New collaboration opportunities
- A stronger understanding of where human expertise remains essential
Let’s be honest, the future of copywriting agencies will not belong to those using the largest number of tools. It will belong to those who know which tools to use, when to use them, what to measure and where human judgment must remain firmly in control.
AI can accelerate research, identify patterns, automate repetitive work and support decision-making. But it cannot independently define what a brand should stand for, which truth deserves to be expressed or why a particular message should matter to another human being. That remains our responsibility.
Coming from 11 Different Countries
The 11 participating agency owners came from 11 different countries, bringing together a rare mix of markets, cultures, client realities and business perspectives. Each participant contributed distinct experience from their local ecosystem, while facing many of the same international challenges: changing search behaviour, increasing client expectations, faster production demands and the need to protect quality, originality and strategic value.
This international composition transformed the workshop into a genuinely global exchange of knowledge, creating the foundations for cross-border collaborations, shared projects and new opportunities extending far beyond the three days in Spetses.
Challenges We Faced & How We Turned Them into Progress
The first challenge arrived before the workshop had properly begun: for the first six hours, there was no electricity and no internet connection. Fortunately, we were prepared.
Each participant had already received a tailor-made, old-fashioned printed workbook, carefully developed around their agency, client portfolio and strategic priorities. Every copy was signed, sealed and created exclusively for the participant whose name appeared on it.
For a program focused on AI platforms, agents, visibility tools and live implementation, the absence of an internet connection could easily have disrupted the entire schedule. Instead, it became an unexpected exercise in strategic clarity and a powerful reminder that every business should always keep one foot offline.
We used those first hours to work on positioning, client portfolios, service structures, brand architecture, existing workflows, and the questions each agency needed to answer before opening any platform. By the time the connection was restored, the participants were not simply ready to test tools. They already knew what they were testing, why it mattered, and where each application could create measurable value.
The second major challenge was more complex and far more important: how to align AI-assisted content with the established brand voices across each agency’s client portfolio.
Every agency arrived with different industries, markets, audiences, tones of voice, and levels of brand maturity. The concern was not whether AI could produce content. The real question was whether it could support content creation without flattening personality, introducing generic language or weakening the strategic identity each brand had built over time.
We addressed this through hands-on brand-voice mapping, prompt architecture, editorial guardrails, human-review systems and client-specific AI workflows. Each agency worked on practical ways to preserve language patterns, positioning, emotional tone, vocabulary, values and audience expectations across multiple client accounts.
The process also raised important questions around quality control, pricing, client expectations, team adoption, AI governance and measurement. Together, we developed approaches that allowed agencies to use AI without reducing the value of their expertise.
What could have become a technical obstacle and a strategic concern became one of the most valuable parts of the workshop. The experience reinforced a principle that remained central throughout our three days in Spetses:
AI should never replace the identity of a brand or the judgment of an agency. It should support both with greater clarity, consistency and intelligence.
The Unexpected Lesson: Always Keep One Foot Offline
The six-hour internet outage delivered one of the most valuable lessons of the entire workshop: no matter how advanced our tools become, a resilient business should always keep one foot offline.
Strategy, judgment, positioning, brand knowledge, client understanding and creative thinking should never depend entirely on a platform, a connection or an automated system. Technology can accelerate the work, but it should not become the only place where the work can exist.
The agencies that will remain strong are those able to think, decide, create and operate even when the digital infrastructure temporarily disappears. Offline preparation, documented processes, accessible brand guidelines, human expertise and clear strategic frameworks are not outdated practices. They are part of business continuity.
The unexpected disruption reminded us that AI readiness is not only about adopting more technology. It is also about building agencies that remain capable, flexible and fully operational without it.
Always keep your business with one foot offline.

Until then, the work continues inside the participating agencies, their client accounts, their new collaborations, and the projects that began during three productive days on Spetses Island. Participants get a dynamic six-month support after completing the workshop. And their assigned advisor remains at their disposal for any questions or help needed.
AI visibility is not just a campaign to be added to an agency calendar. It is becoming part of how brands are discovered, understood, trusted and chosen. And copywriting agencies must be ready to lead that transformation. For them, and equally for their clients’ interests.

Workshop Frequently Asked Questions
- What is AI Visibility for copywriting agencies?
AI Visibility describes how frequently and accurately an agency—or one of its clients—is mentioned, represented, referenced, or cited in AI-generated answers and AI-powered search experiences. For copywriting agencies, it extends beyond traditional keyword rankings. It includes whether platforms can understand a brand’s expertise, services, authority, positioning and relevance when users ask conversational questions. An effective AI Visibility Strategy connects SEO, content quality, brand entities, original expertise, digital reputation, structured information, third-party mentions and consistent brand positioning. (Guide: What is AI Visibility? )
- Why do copywriting agencies need an AI Visibility Strategy?
Copywriting agencies need an AI Visibility Strategy because people are increasingly using AI platforms to research services, compare companies, evaluate expertise and make business decisions. Clients are no longer asking only how they can rank on Google. They also want to know whether their brands appear in AI-generated answers, how accurately they are represented, which sources are being cited and how they compare with their competitors. Agencies must therefore understand how to create content that remains human, distinctive and valuable while also becoming easier for search engines and AI systems to discover, interpret and reference.
- How can copywriting agencies improve their AI Visibility?
Copywriting agencies can improve AI Visibility by strengthening the clarity, authority, consistency and accessibility of their online content. During the workshop, agency owners worked on brand and entity positioning, conversational query research, source-worthy content, expert-led articles, structured answers, topical authority, internal linking, citation opportunities, digital PR, content updates and third-party brand mentions. They also examined whether AI platforms could correctly identify each agency’s expertise, services, markets and distinctive value. The objective was not to produce more content. It was to create stronger, more useful and more credible information that deserved to be discovered and referenced.
- Which AI platforms, agents and skills were covered during the workshop?
The program explored ChatGPT, Custom GPTs, OpenAI Deep Research, ChatGPT Agent, Claude, Claude Projects, Gemini, Gemini Deep Research, NotebookLM, Perplexity and Microsoft Copilot. Participants also worked with SEO, analytics, automation and AI Visibility platforms connected with Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4, Bing Webmaster Tools, Semrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Looker Studio, Make, Zapier, n8n, Airtable, Notion and Google Workspace. The skills covered included AEO, GEO, LLMO, AI Visibility auditing, conversational query research, competitor analysis, citation monitoring, brand-entity development, agent design, workflow automation, prompt architecture, content quality control and AI governance.
- How can agencies use AI without losing their clients’ brand voices?
Agencies can protect established brand voices by treating AI as a supervised working system rather than an independent content creator. At the workshop, participants mapped each brand’s language patterns, positioning, values, emotional tone, vocabulary, rhythm, audience expectations and editorial boundaries. These elements were then translated into client-specific instructions, prompt architecture, reference materials and review processes. Every AI-assisted workflow included human judgment, fact-checking and editorial approval. The principle was clear: AI should never flatten a brand’s personality or replace the agency’s strategic understanding. It should support greater consistency, clarity and efficiency without removing identity.
- How can an agency measure AI Visibility?
AI Visibility can be assessed by examining whether a brand appears in relevant AI-generated answers, which pages or external sources are cited, how accurately the brand is described and how its visibility compares with competitors. Agencies can also monitor conversational queries, brand mentions, citation frequency, source coverage, sentiment, topic association, share of voice and referral traffic from AI platforms. During the workshop, participants developed measurement frameworks suited to their own agencies and client portfolios. The emphasis was on connecting visibility with meaningful business outcomes, including stronger authority, qualified website visits, client inquiries, service discovery and commercial opportunities.
- What happened when the workshop lost internet access?
There was no internet connection during the first six hours of the workshop. Rather than interrupting the program, the outage became an exercise in strategic clarity. Every participant had received a tailor-made luxury printed workbook, signed, sealed and personalized with their name. Using the workbook, participants continued working offline on positioning, brand architecture, client portfolios, service structures, workflows and strategic priorities. By the time the connection returned, they already understood what they wanted to test and why. The experience confirmed one of the workshop’s most important lessons: Always keep your business with one foot offline.
- What was included in the AI Visibility Workshop experience?
The program included a tailor-made workshop syllabus, intensive training, a dedicated consultant assigned to each working table, and six months of post-workshop consulting and implementation support. It also included international travel coordination and transfer support to and from Greece, local transportation, private villa accommodation, private chef dining, concierge services, a personalized luxury printed workbook, a spa day, a private tour of Spetses and a sailing experience following the workshop. Every element was organized by the IDEADECO team so that strategy, education, networking, collaboration, hospitality and personal wellbeing could coexist naturally.
- Who participated in the workshop?
The workshop brought together 11 copywriting agency owners representing 11 different countries, markets and professional ecosystems. Their international experience introduced different languages, industries, client expectations, agency models and operational realities into the program. At the same time, many of the challenges they faced were shared: protecting brand voice, responding to increasing client demands, integrating AI responsibly, measuring visibility and maintaining the commercial value of agency expertise. To protect the confidentiality of the participants, IDEADECO does not disclose their names, agencies, clients, internal information or workshop discussions without explicit permission.
- What happens after the workshop?
The program continues for six months after the participants leave Spetses. During this period, IDEADECO supports the agency owners as they implement their AI Visibility strategies, develop new services, improve workflows, introduce agents and automation systems, refine client proposals and establish measurement frameworks. The consulting period also supports the new projects, collaborations and cross-border opportunities initiated during the workshop. The next AI Visibility Workshop for Copywriting Agencies will take place in June 2027. All available places have already been booked.
- Why Can’t We Find Any Published Photos From the Workshop?
The workshop was designed as a private and confidential working environment for 11 agency owners from 11 different countries. Participants discussed active client accounts, pricing, internal operations, future plans, proprietary workflows and commercially sensitive projects. For this reason, the IDEADECO team chose not to publish identifiable photographs of the participants, their agencies, their workbooks or the material discussed during the program without explicit individual permission. Protecting their privacy was not a limitation of the experience. It was one of the conditions that made honest conversations, deeper strategic work and meaningful collaboration possible. Selected photographs may be shared in the future only with the clear approval of everyone appearing in them.
