The expanded Innovation Center enables Xerox to demonstrate to customers and channel partners its full range of technology and next-generation Managed Print Services for simplifying how work gets done.
The center also works in partnership with Xerox’s long-established network of research centers, including the Xerox Research Centre Europe in Grenoble, France and PARC, a Xerox Company, in Palo Alto, California, to give customers and channel partners a peek into the future of innovations at Xerox.
Darren Cassidy, managing director of Xerox U.K., said: “We wanted to bring our customers closer to our technology and services, so they can actually see how we can help them automate workflows, manage content and analyze documents, to improve productivity. The Innovation Centre should surprise a few people, and we’re confident that all visitors will leave with a better understanding of innovation at Xerox and the benefits our services deliver to customers.”

The Innovation Center space comprises three distinct areas:
- Discovery Area where visitors interact with experts and discuss ways to simplify how work gets done across their business.
- An 80-seat, state-of-the-art auditorium for presentations and large meetings.
- A 30-seat café area provides additional space for networking and breakout meetings

The lead marketing minds of Digital Marketing Xerox Team introduced to Xerox’s partners all the benefits of ConnectKey tools. Besides that, they showed to the participants all the latest tactics and advanced tools for establishing a powerful digital brand strategy, powered by the experience of Xerox awarded Team.
Grafimedia, which is our Managed Print Services Provider. has successfully attended the 2 days Digital Marketing Days Event that was hosted by Xerox. The event took place at the Xerox Innovation Center in Uxbridge, near London, U.K.
How Ideadeco uses Xerox Managed Print Services
We respect the environment and Xerox MPS support our policy to print exactly what and when we need it. The first benefit we saw was cost savings—as much as 30% on total document costs. By printing for less, we also supported our sustainability goals. Secondly, as our MPS strategy matured, we were able to do more, like improve document security and support mobile workers who needed to print on the go. And last but not least, at the most advanced level of MPS, we gained greater automation, integration and simplification of paper-based and digital processes.
Our philosophy is built on being green and print green. Did you know that the average office user prints 20 pages/ day which equals to 500 papers/ month? If you grab your calculator you will end up with the shocking number of 6000 papers per year for each user. Now think the ink, paper and energy that is used to produce just one piece of paper:
• 1 ton of paper = 400 reams = 200,000 sheets
• 1 tree makes 16.67 reams of copy paper or 8,333 sheets
• 1 ream (500 sheets) uses 6% of a tree (and those add up quickly)
By printing green at Ideadeco we saved 4 trees for 2016 and [4+]10 trees for 2017. 🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲 We have set a 30 trees milestone for 2018. Our printer is Xerox 8580N solid ink.

In the winter month of November, Xerox organized a two-day Marketing event for its resellers. For the first time in 28 years, I have seen that resellers from traditional Europe and resellers from the Developing Markets Organization have been merged. Whenever i start a video call/ web cam/voice call on live messenger, skype, google talk, yahoo messenger, my computer totally freezes, and gives an echo. I have to restart it manually. Sometimes it comes with a blue screen, and it restarts itself.. I am using Vista, and this situation existed when i had XP on this computer. What is wrong? Hardware problems? There is no virus detected after i scanned the computer with Kaspersky..
