Panos Synetos

Hey, I’m Panos (short for Panagiotis), a web developer with more than 15 years of experience in IT. I am the owner of 11 Digit Labs, a web development agency based in Athens and a proud member of the Codeable team.

Throughout my career, I have worked with many programming languages and technologies (from Coldfusion and Oracle to PHP and MySQL). But since my first WordPress project, back in 2010, I have been working almost exclusively with WordPress/PHP.

I’m an all-around guy and enjoy solving problems and finding solutions. I love technology, black coffee and beer in random order.

Nikolaos Dionisopoulos

Ο Νίκος είναι ένας Μηχανολόγος Μηχανικός που τον κέρδισε ο προγραμματισμός. Εδώ και 15 χρόνια ασχολείται με τον κόσμο των Open Source CMS βασισμένων σε PHP, τόσο σαν χρήστης όσο και σαν προγραμματιστής.

Μέσα από την εταιρία του, την Akeeba Ltd, φτιάχνει open source λογισμικό για λήψη αντιγράφων ασφαλείας και προστασία ιστοχώρων βασισμένων σε WordPress και Joomla.

Ralf Wiechers

During his studies of communications design Ralf Wiechers started building websites in 2010 that can do more as just being good looking. He enjoys building custom projects based on WordPress from journalistic websites to web application or e-commerce solutions.

Working as location-independent consultant since 2014 he combines doing his favorite water sports with traveling and professional work for his clients.

He is also part of a startup in Indonesia building a WP-based booking platform for sustainable and locals-friendly tourism. At WordCamp Athens he will speaking about «The power of Taxonomies for better Websites».

Mauricio Gelves

Mauricio Gelves is a Software Engineer, works as Freelancer Web Consultant and has spoken in many WordCamps around the world. He’s a Digital Nomad since 2015, an activity that combines his two biggest passions: Technologies and traveling.

He shares his experiences with articles and videos you can read and watch in his blog and YouTube account. Also collaborates with SiteGround as Brand Ambassador

Joost De Valk

Joost de Valk is the Founder of Yoast. He spends most of his time at Yoast working on Yoast SEO, as Chief Product Officer. In addition to that, he’s also the Marketing & Communications Lead for WordPress.org.

Joost has a background as an SEO, digital marketer and web developer. In the early days of his career, he worked in several IT companies, ranging from enterprise hosting to online marketing agencies. This allowed him to work with several large brands around the world.

Stella Kasdagli

Η Στέλλα Κάσδαγλη είναι συγγραφέας, μεταφράστρια, εκπαιδεύτρια εφήβων και ενηλίκων και συνιδρύτρια του οργανισμού Women On Top.

Σπούδασε Γαλλική φιλολογία στην Αθήνα και Θεωρία των ΜΜΕ στο Λονδίνο και δούλεψε για αρκετά χρόνια ως διευθύντρια σύνταξης στο περιοδικό Cosmopolitan, συνεργαζόμενη παράλληλα με άλλα ελληνικά και αγγλόφωνα έντυπα και sites.

Πλέον σχεδιάζει και υλοποιεί δράσεις για την επαγγελματική ενδυνάμωση των γυναικών και την ισότητα στην αγορά εργασίας, γράφει για θέματα που θα ήθελε να συζητιούνται πιο πολύ, μεταφράζει ξένη λογοτεχνία και συντονίζει εργαστήρια για εφήβους με θέμα την εικόνα σώματος, την κοινωνική ενεργοποίηση και τη δημιουργική χρήση των ψηφιακών μέσων.

Είναι επίσης συνιδρύτρια του δικτύου Mentorkids και της online λέσχης ανάγνωσης Bookworm. Τα βιβλία της Κοιλίτσα.com, Ήθελα μόνο να χωρέσω και η σειρά της Πριγκίπισσας Αθηνάς, κυκλοφορούν από τις εκδόσεις Πατάκη. Έχει δύο κόρες και μεγαλώνει μαζί τους στην Αθήνα.

Foteini Vavitsa

Σπούδασα Οικονομικές Επιστήμες στο Αριστοτέλειο Πανεπιστήμιο Θεσσαλονίκης και από την πρώτη στιγμή της εργασιακής μου πορείας ασχολήθηκα με την Προβολή και την Επικοινωνία, χρησιμοποιώντας τα εργαλεία του Διαδικτύου.  

Η αρθρογραφία και το blogging υπήρξαν αναπόσπαστο κομμάτι της προσωπικής μου προβολής, καθώς ο τρόπος με τον οποίο βρήκα τελικά συνεργασίες στον χώρο ήταν μέσα από το προσωπικό μου blog, το οποίο δημιούργησα για να έχω κι εγώ το πειραματόζωο μου.

Τα χρόνια πέρασαν (ας μη θυμηθούμε πόσα) ο τρόπος με τον οποίο εφαρμόζω πλέον τα εργαλεία του marketing στα projects και τις εταιρείες που αναλαμβάνω εξελίχθηκαν, με τη δημιουργία και τη δημοσίευση περιεχομένου όμως να παραμένει αναπόσπαστο κομμάτι έως και σήμερα.

Πιστεύω στην προβολή της επιχείρησης και στην αποτελεσματικότητα του περιεχομένου, αρκεί να γίνονται σωστά. Αυτός είναι και ένας από τους λόγους που αφιερώνω χρόνο στο να μεταφέρω τις γνώσεις και την εμπειρία μου σε αντίστοιχες θεματολογίες.

Konstantina Rodi

Η Κωνσταντίνα (ή αλλιώς Νάντια) ακολουθώντας το όνειρο που είχε από μικρή σπούδασε Μηχανικός πληροφορικής στο Τ.Ε.Ι Δυτικής Ελλάδας , απ όπου αποφοίτησε το 2016. Αγαπάει πολύ την εκπαίδευση, τον προγραμματισμό, την αρθρογραφία , τον εθελοντισμό και ονειρεύεται ένα κόσμο της πληροφορικής χωρίς προκαταλήψεις.

Επαγγελματικά ασχολείται κυρίως με freelancing projects. Από το 2017 είναι εθελόντρια στον Μη Κερδοσκοπικό Οργανισμό InterMediaKT και στηρίζει κάθε δράση του όπως το Patras Codecamp, το Dress2Code κ.α.

Όνειρο της είναι να μπορέσει να εξοικειώσει περισσότερες γυναίκες στην συνεχή μάθηση και στον προγραμματισμό και γι αυτό δημιουργήθηκε το πρόγραμμα Dress2Code. Μια σειρά workshops από γυναίκες σε «αρχάριες» γυναίκες στον προγραμματισμό.

We love WordPress. Yes, we do! I made my first blog with WordPress back in 2004. Since then (and 4.500 websites later), my deep love for WordPress has grown stronger. The platform now is more mature, more interactive and has adopted all state-of-the-art demands of CMS standards.

This amazing content management system (CMS) manages the creation and modification of digital content. Also, it can easily support multiple users in a collaborative environment. How to Access #WCATH2019 Venue

The Athens Concert Hall occupies a central location right in the heart of the city. The Concert Hall is situated at the corner of Vas. Sofias Avenue and Kokkali St. This is a location most people know and you’ll find it easy to get to. If you come by taxi, just tell the driver you want the Concert Hall. He won’t need any further directions!

You can also get here by public transport from any part of Athens:

• By metro, it’s just two minutes from the Megaro Moussikis Metro Station to the door of the Concert Hall
• By bus, buses Ε14, Χ14, Α5 and 550 stop right in front of the Concert Hall
• By electrically driven bus, buses 13, 12, 10 and 3 stop right in front of the Concert Hall

Visitors to Athens can easily find the Concert Hall:

• From the airport, you can take bus Χ95, or a 35-minute ride on the Metro will bring you to the Concert Hall
• From the railway station, it’s just 30 minutes to the Concert Hall Metro station
• From Piraeus, it’s just a few minutes ride on the Metro.

Parking

If you come by car you can park in the Concert Hall’s new three-level parking facility, which has spaces for 750 cars.  The entrance is on Kokkali St. and the facility is open from 6am to 2am every day.
