Arsenis asked me: What do you think will happen to the advertising effectiveness of Facebook?
Areti: For all digital marketing experts out there, a moment comes where they wonder about the future of Facebook Advertising and its effectiveness. Digital marketing in general faces too many challenges regarding effectiveness.
Facebook started on February 2004. Fifteen years and 1.7 billion users later, Facebook advertising has become wider and strongly aggressive. We are constantly accepting more advertisements in our timeline, into messenger and throughout all our digital assets.
Facebook Advertising suffers from an efficiency bubble from its origin. In my humble opinion, it has no reason to smile facing its future.
No matter how deeply data-driven could eventually become, it will be constantly vulnerable to the test of authenticity. However, the more we focus on efficiency the more we lose sight of the big picture.
Trust gets wounded day by day. Users don’t trust what they see in Facebook anymore. Unfortunately, individuals are trained to think that real life is as much unreliable as Facebook’s reality.
That has shifted the interest of brands and forced them to revise their priorities for their future digital marketing strategy. Of course, the rise of digital TV, threatens the sustainability of Facebook Advertising. TV channels have the undivided attention of consumers with the help of amazing visual storytelling.
People are bored with Facebook Advertising behavior and although smartphones are 24/7 on their hands, they prefer to navigate in different platforms. Facebook Advertising effectiveness faces many shortcomings and users have noticed all of them. Continue reading…
About Just Online
The people in Just Online have been in the online market since 1996. Their specialties include Social Media Marketing, Email Marketing, Mobile Commerce, SEO, Online Campaigns and E-shops.
How they work
Step 1: Designing your online strategy
In this step you will help them understand your business, your products and services, your market and competitors, your positioning and image you want to project, in order to determine exactly which online services you need.
Do you need a site or a blog? Social Media or Google Adwords? Facebook, LinkedIn or YouTube? This is how they will be able to create the right digital mix of services for your company.
Step 2: Designing your voice on the Internet
In this step they brainstorm with you to find the right content for your site or e-shop, your social media presence, your email newsletter and your online ads.
You tell them how you want to be perceived by your clients and how you want to differ from competition. They review what content (photos, text, video) you already have and they propose more or new content that will make up your site, social media, newsletter and ads, so as to create your authentic “voice” on the internet.
If you want to revamp an existing site, social media presence or online campaign, they go through an evaluation of what worked and what didn’t, you let them know the things you want to “keep”, and they design new proposals, If you start from scratch, their designers, copy writers and marketing team are available to help you build your image from ground zero.
Step 3: Creating your presence online
This is the step that take time … for many agencies. Not for them! The “secret” is that they have spent enough time in step 2 so as to know what you are looking for in your new online presence. One more meeting is required for your approval and your business’s new digital presence will go on line.
Step 4: Training & Support
Having your site online, your social media presence ready, or your Google Adwords campaign running, is the real beginning of a project, not the end. If you choose to run your business online by yourself, they’ll give you a 4 hour training in their premises to make you capable of managing your online presence yourself.
At all times, they’ll be there to support you and give you new ideas on how to keep your online presence fresh and appealing to your clients and ahead of competitors.
